ביומיא האינון מרע חזקיהו לממת ואתא לותיה ישעיה בר אמוץ נביא ואמר ליה כדנן אמר יי פקיד על אנש ביתך ארי מאית את ולא תיחי ממרעך:
mmrek thykhy wla ath mayth ary bythk ansh el pqyd yy amr kdnn lyh wamr nbya amwts br ysheyh lwthyh watha lmmth khzqyhw mre haynwn bywmya
In those days Hezekiah was sick and dying. Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, “Yahweh says, ‘Set your house in order; for you will die, and not live.’”

ואסחר ית אפוהי לכותל בית מקדשא וצלי קדם יי למימר:
lmymr yy qdm wtsly mqdsha byth lkwthl apwhy yth waskhr
Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to Yahweh, saying,

קבל בעותי יי אדכר כען ית דפלחית קדמך בקשוט ובלבב שלים ודתקין קדמך עבדית ובכא חזקיה בכיא סגיאה:
sgyah bkya khzqyh wbka ebdyth qdmk wdthqyn shlym wblbb bqshwT qdmk dplkhyth yth ken adkr yy bewthy qbl
“Remember now, Yahweh, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

והוה ישעיה לא נפק לדרתא מציעאה ופתגם נבואה מן קדם יי הוה עמיה למימר:
lmymr emyh hwh yy qdm mn nbwah wpthgm mtsyeah ldrtha npq la ysheyh whwh
Before Isaiah had gone out into the middle part of the city, Yahweh’s word came to him, saying,

תוב ותימר לחזקיה מלכא דעמי כדנן אמר יי אלהיה דדוד אבוך שמיע קדמי צלותך גליא קדמי דמעתך הא אנא מסי לך ביומא תליתאה תיסק לבית מקדשא דיי:
dyy mqdsha lbyth thysq thlythah bywma lk msy ana ha dmethk qdmy glya tslwthk qdmy shmye abwk ddwd alhyh yy amr kdnn demy mlka lkhzqyh wthymr thwb
“Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘Yahweh, the God of David your father, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to Yahweh’s house.

ואוסיף על יומך חמש עסרי שנין ומיד מלכא דאתור אשיזבינך וית קרתא הדא ואגין על קרתא הדא בדיל מימרי ובדיל דוד עבדי:
ebdy dwd wbdyl mymry bdyl hda qrtha el wagyn hda qrtha wyth ashyzbynk dathwr mlka wmyd shnyn esry khmsh ywmk el wawsyp
I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.”’”

ואמר ישעיהו יסבון דבלת תינין ונסיבו ושויאו על שיחנא ואתסי:
wathsy shykhna el wshwyaw wnsybw thynyn dblth ysbwn ysheyhw wamr
Isaiah said, “Take a cake of figs.” They took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

ואמר חזקיהו לישעיהו מא את ארי יסי יי לי ואסק ביומא תליתאה לבית מקדשא דיי:
dyy mqdsha lbyth thlythah bywma wasq ly yy ysy ary ath ma lysheyhw khzqyhw wamr
Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What will be the sign that Yahweh will heal me, and that I will go up to Yahweh’s house the third day?”

ואמר ישעיה דין לך אתא מן קדם יי ארי יעבד יי ית פתגמא דמליל היהך טולא עסר שעין אם יתוב עסר שעין:
sheyn esr ythwb am sheyn esr Twla hyhk dmlyl pthgma yth yy yebd ary yy qdm mn atha lk dyn ysheyh wamr
Isaiah said, “This will be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do the thing that he has spoken: should the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?”

ואמר חזקיה קללא דא דיהך טולא עסר שעין ברם נסא יתוב טולא לאחורוהי עסר שעין:
sheyn esr lakhwrwhy Twla ythwb nsa brm sheyn esr Twla dyhk da qlla khzqyh wamr
Hezekiah answered, “It is a light thing for the shadow to go forward ten steps. No, but let the shadow return backward ten steps.”

וצלי ישעיה נביא קדם יי ואתיב ית טולא בצורת אבן שעיא דנחתת במסקנא דאחז שמשא לאחורוהי עסר שעין:
sheyn esr lakhwrwhy shmsha dakhz bmsqna dnkhthth sheya abn btswrth Twla yth wathyb yy qdm nbya ysheyh wtsly
Isaiah the prophet cried to Yahweh; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.

בעדנא ההיא שלח בראדך בלאדן בר בלאדן מלכא דבבל אגרן וקרבנין לות חזקיה ארי שמע ארי אתמרע חזקיה:
khzqyh athmre ary shme ary khzqyh lwth wqrbnyn agrn dbbl mlka bladn br bladn bradk shlkh hhya bedna
At that time Berodach Baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

וקבל מנהון חזקיה ואחזינון ית כל בית גנזוהי ית כספא וית דהבא וית בוסמניא וית משחא טבא וית בית מנוהי וית כל דאשתכח בגנזוהי לא הוה מדעם דלא אחזינון חזקיה בביתיה ובכל שולטניה:
shwlTnyh wbkl bbythyh khzqyh akhzynwn dla mdem hwh la bgnzwhy dashthkkh kl wyth mnwhy byth wyth Tba mshkha wyth bwsmnya wyth dhba wyth kspa yth gnzwhy byth kl yth wakhzynwn khzqyh mnhwn wqbl
Hezekiah listened to them, and showed them all the storehouse of his precious things—the silver, the gold, the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures. There was nothing in his house, or in all his dominion, that Hezekiah didn’t show them.

ואתא ישעיה נביא לות מלכא חזקיה ואמר ליה מה אמרו לך גבריא האלין ומנן אתו לותך ואמר חזקיה מארעא רחיקא אתו לותי מבבל:
mbbl lwthy athw rkhyqa marea khzqyh wamr lwthk athw wmnn halyn gbrya lk amrw mh lyh wamr khzqyh mlka lwth nbya ysheyh watha
Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah, and said to him, “What did these men say? From where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said, “They have come from a far country, even from Babylon.”

ואמר מה חזו בביתך ואמר חזקיה ית כל די בביתי חזו לא הוה מדעם די לא אחזיתינון בגנזי:
bgnzy akhzythynwn la dy mdem hwh la khzw bbythy dy kl yth khzqyh wamr bbythk khzw mh wamr
He said, “What have they seen in your house?” Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”

ואמר ישעיהו לחזקיה קבל פתגמא דיי:
dyy pthgma qbl lkhzqyh ysheyhw wamr
Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear Yahweh’s word.

הא יומיא אתן ויתנטיל כל די בביתך ודגנזו אבהתך עד יומא הדין ויתוב לבבל לא ישתאר מדעם אמר יי:
yy amr mdem yshthar la lbbl wythwb hdyn ywma ed abhthk wdgnzw bbythk dy kl wythnTyl athn ywmya ha
‘Behold, the days come that all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have laid up in store to this day, will be carried to Babylon. Nothing will be left,’ says Yahweh.

ומבנך די יפקון מנך דתוליד ידבר ויהון רברבין בהיכלא דמלכא דבבל:
dbbl dmlka bhykla rbrbyn wyhwn ydbr dthwlyd mnk ypqwn dy wmbnk
‘They will take away some of your sons who will issue from you, whom you will father; and they will be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.’”

ואמר חזקיה לישעיהו תקין פתגמא דיי דמלילתא ואמר הלא אם שלם וקשוט יהי ביומי:
bywmy yhy wqshwT shlm am hla wamr dmlyltha dyy pthgma thqyn lysheyhw khzqyh wamr
Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “Yahweh’s word which you have spoken is good.” He said moreover, “Isn’t it so, if peace and truth will be in my days?”

ושאר פתגמי חזקיה וכל גבורתיה ודעבד ית בריכתא וית מזיקתא ואיתי ית מיא לקרתא הלא אינון כתיבין על ספר פתגמי יומיא למלכי דבית יהודה:
yhwdh dbyth lmlky ywmya pthgmy spr el kthybyn aynwn hla lqrtha mya yth waythy mzyqtha wyth bryktha yth wdebd gbwrthyh wkl khzqyh pthgmy wshar
Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made the pool, and the conduit, and brought water into the city, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
